August 24th Seattle
Today is the day that I'll meet all the Resist and Exist members in Seattle and start playing with Conflict. Every time I try to talk on stage people tell me to shut up and play. We did okay. A couple members of Conflict were very surprised to see that I was in a band because only Colin and Ference knew. Against All Authority was very surprised because I was really quiet around them. Conflict played and did a great set. A random fan played drums for them.
August 25th Portland
I was really happy to see Neil at this show. We did an okay set. I felt like I was playing in front of a rock-n-roll crowd because no one would listen to me when I tried to explain the meaning of our songs. They just want to hear the music. Paco is out of the hospital and flew in to Portland. He took the cab and did an awesome set. We all gave him a hug. It blew me away that he started smoking right after he got out of the hospital.
August 26th Eugene
Resist And Exist, Against All Authority and Conflict played this benefit show for FREE and CRITTER. It was a house show in someone's backyard. There was no energy at all from the crowd. Someone kept yelling that they saw me eating ice cream. After our set this kid comes up to me and again says that he saw me eating ice cream eight years ago and that I was not a vegan. People really blow me away. After the show we all ate in the garage. There was a lot of good food for us. This was a total DIY show but when I went out by the van I discovered that someone wrote something in marker on the back of the Conflict tour van.
