We finally got to Idaho. We were at this house with mostly young kids. They were members of ARA (Anti Racist Action). There was all kinds of porn, movies and magazines, lying around. We went out to get food and came back and there was porn in the bathroom too. I was using the kids computer to check my email and there was a cartoon woman on the screen with her legs spread. Neil told the kid that he should fight this too, not just racism. The kid said it wasn't his home. He said that other kids from ARA left because of sexism. When I got into the van I got the feeling that some of the member of Resist and Exist and Aus Rotten didn't want to stay at that house. Jen, Freddy, and Gidget all went to get a hotel room. Aus Rotten, Neil, Richard, Mark and Carolyn from AK Press weren't interested in that. Neil said that when you're on tour you don't stay in motels because it just costs too much. So now we're at this college campus and there are a lot of young punk kids. The opening band was joking around and using words like cunt and bitch. Katrina came to me and said that a lot of these young kids were talking down to girls in the hall way. She wanted me to say something on mic. So before we went on I decided to do it in a friendly way since these were young kids. I asked them how they would feel if someone called their sister, mother or grandma a bitch. I was really surprised that no one told me to shut the fuck up and just play. I started out with a poem and gave a peace salute and some kids gave the peace salute back to me. I think Marck did a great job addressing the crowd about respecting women. Dave from Aus Rotten did even more of an explanation about the whole sexism thing. After that we packed everything up and helped Richard load all the equipments and the PA system into the other van. Some kid came up to me with our EP and asked me for an autograph. I didn't want to reject him and say "Oh, I'm not a rock star". So I took the ep and wrote "unity, trust and much respect. The guys from Aus Rotten gave me a weird look because they reject autograph requests and explain to the kids that they are not rock stars. Dayna and Gabe invited us to their house. Gabe does a radio show so he interviewed all of us. Somehow I couldn't do the interview because I was really tired after our performance. |

We all woke up and the owners of the house were gone. I guess they both went to work. It's really cool that they trusted us alone in their home. We all went to a vegetarian restaurant and had a nice meal. We had a drive of a little over 2 hours. This was a house basement show. I went down to the basement and hung all the banners. Jimmy was not happy with the basement show. My throat was damaged from singing everyday so I didn't perform well and ended up skipping a lot of the lyrics. |

I asked how many vegetarians were in the audience and there was not one person who raised their hand. Marck did a great job as usual. Aus Rotten didn't do well because their singer was sick. After the gig we all went to the living room and watched a Leonard Peltier documentary. Freddy warned me about this town after someone drove by and screamed "white power" at us |
